Children's Ministry at Chadbourn Baptist Church
The above picture is from our
Vacation Bible School this past summer. We also offer opportunities for families to spend time together through various outings throughout the year. This fall, we will be making our annual trip to the corn maze, visiting a children’s museum, and attending a Disney on Ice performance. We also will be reaching out to the families in our community by offering Trunk-or-Treat as a safe alternative to Halloween.

The children’s ministry of Chadbourn Baptist Church ministers to children ages 0-12. We seek to provide opportunities for children to learn about Christ through Sunday school, discipleship training, and missions education.
Our Sunday school classes are as follows: Nursery-ages 0-2, Preschool –ages 3-5, Early Elementary-K-3rd, and Upper Elementary-4th-6th grades. On Wednesday nights, our children study missions and learn about God’s work throughout the world as they also find ways to serve in our community. They often participate in packing bags for our food pantry, visiting the local nursing home annually, and sending cards of encouragement to church members. The Preschool class is for ages 2-4 while our Elementary class is for ages 5-12. On Sunday nights, we offer discipleship training for all ages at 6 pm. Bible Drill is offered for the 3rd-6th graders at 5 pm. All children birth-6th grade are invited to join us in the church library on Sunday nights (September - April) from 6pm-7pm as Katie Honeycutt, Regina Britt, and Tammy Russell lead in a time of Singing, Bible Stories, and Activities. This is at the same time as youth and adult discipleship training. A meal is provided afterwards in the fellowship hall. |
